I have come to the tentative conclusion that Mr. Dent graciously underestimated his projections for the Dow and S&P in the interests of "the conservative estimate". We just had a 13% or so correction. He has a rather nasty one forecast for early '98 so maybe we either just had it or we're still in the middle of it.
