Hi MIke : Read some were some one expect 3rd world countires to buy
up a lot of computers, weeel if you checked my page you will know
I'v been a boat Capt..more than anything else..and I visited a lot
of 3rd world places..and there is a problem with them buying up
a lot of computers..several , not many people in thoes places
have the money to spare on a computer, even the used ones go for
a premium..we talk about cracking markets, or emergin markets, like
it's going to be a big deal,,I can tell you it's going to be much
slower than most people think..one of the big hang ups is the duty
most of thoes countries put on things, and if they drop the duty
they just add something like a luxary tax,,you might could sell a
few on the black market and make some bucks, but smuggleing them
in can be a hassel..I'm not kidding..most of the places I've been
something like a computer gets a premium price..out of the reach
of the majority..the Gov..all want a cut up front, one way or
another...lot of places I have not been..but I sure would not count
on any big 3rd world market to sell to any time soon..a few yes
but not anything like it seems most people have been able lead to
belive.. sat.net
