Passing by after buying some MSFT at 86.5 today.

Do you know of anyone who has actually paid to have the IE software program. Not I. I am sure a few people have actually bought this program.

The government is attempting to be tough on MSFT, but bu opening up and making available the IE source code to other developers will definitely increase the usage of IE, of course, in conjunction with other MSFT products.

I view is as a free "door opener" to get people into using MSFT products.

In the meantime, Gates is diversifying his empire by buying equity positions with related services and products while, at the same time, saying they are strictly a software company.

In my opinion, in a few more years, this company products and services shall be so diverse that it shall easily outdo GE in this strategy.

The best thing for me is that I hope more people do some more panic selling so that I may be able to buy more MSFT in the 70's and low 80's.

Inform me if I am totally crazy re the above thoughts.
