I went for the gold crowns myself. The dentist wasn't even going to ask...they were going to do ceramic by default. When she started doing a tooth color match, I said that won't be necessary I want GOLD crowns. She looked at me like I was nuts... By the way, did you know that some porcelain crowns are built around a gold/platinum base? Check out these babies...88% gold, 9% platinum, and porcelain covered. Personally, I would never cover my beautiful gold with nasty old white porcelain...except maybe to hide it from the government. >gggg> tridentlab.com
