I presented arguments and facts, you present simple unsupported assertion combined with derision as if it trumped arguments and facts.

I'll give you one example of a lack of regulation. Hedge funds have been driving companies down by doing what's called naked shorting which is illegal. The SEC knows it but has not, under Bush, enforced this rule. AIG, LEH et al were in trouble but may have be saveable had their stock not been driven into the ground. In July, the SEC finally started to enforce that rule......but only for roughly 20 stocks and only for a month. Once it lifted the rule again......naked shorting resumed.

In every federal agency, the same thing has happened under bush. Regulatory laws have been ignored. Businesses were allowed to do what they liked. That's how we got the subprime crisis. Now I know you don't want to believe it. And I am sure your cohort has come up with an alternative explanation...they always do......which helps to dilute the argument and prevents there being any meaningful cure.

Frankly, I am sick of it. Your ideology has ruled this country for the last 35 years. In general, we are not better off for it. However, the rich are. Its enough!

Sorry if I am not open to your arguments but all they seem to do is perpetuate an unpleasant status quo.
