Obama wants to "hang with" the Iranians, who sponsor more terrorism than Qaddafi ever did. And Obama wants to do it himself (not just sending his Secretary of State or other officials), and importantly without preconditions (unlike the case with Qaddafi, who had to give up his nuclear program, and stop supporting terrorism).
