Maybe there is more to the story than you are telling. I think you are honest enough with yourself to accept that what he was telling you was true, either you sweat or you quit. Maybe you quit too easily. Remember the dream about the hand? Madame Cobalt said you made a mistake when you were in college. Was this the mistake? He didn't have the gift, or he wouldn't have been where he was. But he also didn't know who had the gift, did he? That's the sad part. We give them so much power over us, because we have good hearts, and we can't imagine that they don't. How is it possible for them to have so much power, without having good hearts? But they don't. I wish I could go back in time and blow him away, but I can't. All I can do is tell people, don't trust them. They have agendas that don't include your best interests. Not good enough.
