By all means, go ahead and try it out, Egypt.

The Political system will be a Muslim/Secular/military one. The economic system will be primitive Capital/Socialist one. As long as this continues, they will be poor and miserable.

This is the future for all Islamic countries. Plain as the nose on your face. Indonesia, which is the best of these States because of the Asian influence, is succumbing to Wahhabism as well.

We are stuck with the problem of what to do with Saudi Arabia. A Clan of Saudis rulers perched on top of a cauldron of the worst religious sect the world has ever seen. The last time they had a struggle with these Wahhabi Mullahs, they lost and had to give in to save themselves.

If they are forced out, the Islamic Theocracy that would arise would be impossible to deal with and incredibly costly to stop. Taking over and running Saudi Arabia would make our Iraq experience look like child's play.

It does no good to talk to their leadership about change. They will "smile and smile and be a villain." Underneath all of their seeming Westernization is a desire to keep their society as it is. They LIKE running an autocracy. They LIKE treating treating their women like slaves. They LIKE their corrupt system. They are not going to change.
