This chart shows every energy and oil installation in Libya, offshore and on. Every one of them is a European-owned entity. This is no more a humanitarian mission than a mission to save the animals and the pets of Libya. This is about European energy, pure and simple.

That's why the Euros are involved, for sure. But the half-assed way it's being managed makes a long war more likely, not less. And while the war goes on, how much oil will be exported? Probably not much. If all they cared about was oil delivery, they should have done nothing and let Qaddafi crush the rebellion.
