Winston,
I have found the Webbroker as well as Waterhouse local branch office to be unacceptable recently. Today on three occasions I could not access Webbroker. I have found their local branch office to be very unresponsive. I cancelled an order and replaced it with a higher price recently. The Webbroker confirmed this. However when I got my trade report it was at the lower price. Waterhouse will not give me a credit for the difference. Let this be a lesson to all. It is a good idea to keep a log of all your trades and immediately record the confirmation number as well as date and time. On three recent occasions the Waterhouse representative took over 3 days to get back to me on issues regarding my account even though he said he would call me back today. What really irrated me was the attitude shown by the branch manager- he defended the employee in spite of his poor work ethic. I have recently opened an account at Brown and can say nothing but good things. As an experiment last week I place two orders at the same time at both Waterhouse and Brown. Brown got me
better prices on both trades and also charges lower commissions.
