Hi Poseidonas,

<<What if the JV decides to case the well at this stage?>>

I'm sure that if they do case the well at this time they will have a very, very good reason for doing so. I personally would like to see them drill on to the Point of Rocks formation with this well. And, I believe that the JV's objective is to drill as much of the Temblor as they reasonably can with this well. But, I also know that they will NOT risk the loss of this wellbore nor the safety of the operation just to make more hole. Given the lost circulation problems which they have recently experienced and the data collected during logging operations, I am sure they will very readily determine an appropriate course of action. I sure wish that I were privy to all of the data and the partner discussions (as each would be most interesting), but alas I am not. But, I do have every confidence that these guys know what they are doing and that they will come up with the best possible course of action for the well. I anxiously wait to hear what that will be.

<<In your opinion what would be the stage of events that would take place, if the well is cased at this stage...>>

That would be dependent upon what their situation is with respect to lost circulation, what fluid(s) they have in the respective zones, the relative zone thicknesses, pressures, etc.. There's just way too many "unkowns" for me to be able to give any credible answer to your question. Sorry.

<<...can they accurately estimate how much they can produce (TCFs) out of the 1st and 2nd sands without the use of the Berkley well?>>

Every penetration they can get adds critical data which is key to determining the size and optimal depletion plan for the pool(s). That is why it is so important to make as much hole as possible with each well. But, production performance of the wells will also provide valuable information for determining reserves. Short term completion flow tests provide "measured rates", yield impressive flares, and excite brokers. But, they really are of very limited use in estimating reserve size in HUGE reservoirs like ELH.

Sorry to be so tardy in answering your post but as you might have guessed I've been golfing a fair bit the last few days. In addition, I had a "computer crash" late last Thursday and it has taken a lot of time to get my system restored and running again. Just about done now. #$%^$#@*&%@*&HT viruses !!!!

Later,
