Request to Allen, s., Reseller, actually anyone,

If and when you get one of the new Zip 250 drives, please see if the Zip 100 (Classic Zip, like Classic Coke or Classic Mac?) will actually read data recorded @ 100 MB/disk which has been recorded on a Zip 250. I remember that there were problems with the old floppies of a LD drive not being able to read from a HD drive, because the tracks were so narrow that there wasn't enough magnetism on the disk to pick up the signal above the noise of the unrecorded shoulders. We all would be very interested in your findings (although some will automatically call any positive findings into question). And you won't even have the possibility of screwing up your drive and voiding the warranty!
