Here are a couple more positive statements from the ML report
yesterday: "The only high point seemed to be the
continued surge of NT business (+100%), showing that Oracle is
still effectively competing against Microsoft." ........
"We believe the Street has reduced estimates to a degree that
they become "beatable" in FY 1999. During that period, we expect:
a)Oracle's new product cycles to have a more direct impact on the
revenue line; b) the earnings comparisons to ease; and
c) currency/macroeconomic issues to potentially ease."
