Interestingly Clarke (pot calling kettle black ?) was saying interference for one was a technique by which some of these head shots could be avoided, as it slows down the game.. along with the red line return.. My 12 year old is a great little athlete, plays hockey and ski races well both .. but I expect (plan on it) he'll be ski racing and giving up hockey after bantam 13-14 years old.. no one aims at your head in a ski race.. but sure it's dangerous also.. Suspensions don't really work as a deterrent.. and the victims are last on the worry list it seems...
