I can't tell whether that's your judgment, Bill, or someone else from whom you "stole" the text, "Intel Dump?"
I try not to steal, John. :>) When I list the source before the text, it is a "cut and paste" from the source.
As you mention, Ignatieff is discussing an extremely difficult subject. One designed to "cross a Rabbi's eyes," with no "good" or "fast" solution. Kind of a "how many Angels" subject. You can discuss it forever.
Speaking of sourcing, It is obvious to everybody that I am no longer always including a URL. However, I always include the source at the top of the post, except in the case of a short paragraph, where I know the entire post is visible when opened. I wish everybody would do this. I, like you John, don't like to read a piece without knowing the source. And if it is not at the top, I have to scroll to the bottom to find out before I read. Vexing.
The "source" I list can usually be found by googling it. "Intel Dump" will turn up that blog immediately. |
