Gregory A. Chapin Appointed President of Medinah Mining
LAKE ELSINORE, Calif., Apr 7, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Board of Directors of
Medinah Mining, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Gregory A. Chapin has been
appointed President of the Corporation. The appointment is effective
immediately. Mr Chapin was until recently, Corporate Secretary/Director of
Medinah Mining, Inc. As a result of Mr. Chapin's appointment, Mr. Kenneth N.
Taschuk, LL.B., has been appointed to the position of Corporate Secretary in his
stead.
Mr. Chapin is a highly respected consultant with experience in a variety of
business environments. He has been instrumental in providing business solutions
to numerous multifaceted start-up operations and continues to serve as a
consultant and advisory board member to several successful enterprises. In 1992,
Mr. Chapin retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after a
career culminating in his leadership of their Organized Crime Unit. He has also
served as a session instructor to the FBI and the Justice Department. Mr. Chapin
has a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration with graduate studies in
Business Administration.

Mr. Taschuk, is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta (1976),
and has been in private practice for 23 years with a strong emphasis on
corporate law and corporate relations. Prior to attending college, Mr. Taschuk
served as a non-professional chemist to both the petrochemical and mining
industries. He has been acting as in-house counsel to Medinah Mining since July
1999 and is well familiar with current corporate developments.
The Board of Directors welcomes Mr. Chapin and Mr. Taschuk to the position of
President and Secretary of the Company respectively and anticipate that their
business experience will be a valuable addition to Medinah Mining, Inc.
