Jim, I must assume that you are recommending McDonald's because you ate an Arch Deluxe this week. Two points, however. Do you realise that you may be the one of the very few people in the U.S. doing this? (Just ask McDonald's.) And, second, please let me know what you decided against so I can short that company's stock.
Seriously, I believe that we participate in these forums to share experiences, discuss issues, etc. for the common good. In the SUNW forum, I do not see too many of the cheerleaders that have become endemic in other stocks, and, are therefore worthless to creating an atmosphere of intelligent debate. However, your comments have thus far represented the other end of that spectrum, and, IMO also are ineffective in contributing to our shared goal. Please tell us why your department is abandoning Sun products -- what perceived weaknesses have led to this decision and perhaps that will encourage debate.
