Bill/AND ALL NEW YORK -- The New York Stock Exchange began trading 12 companies last week,
including eight initial public offerings. The American Stock Exchange began trading two new
stocks, including one IPO trading on a "when-issued" basis. The National Association of Securities
Dealers began trading 19 companies, including 18 IPOs.

The following IPOs began trading on the Big Board: Boykin Lodging Co., Cleveland, a real estate
investment trust, BOY; DePuy Inc., Warsaw, Ind., orthopedic devices and supplies maker, DPU;
Delta Financial Corp., Woodbury, N.Y., a consumer finance company, DFC; Dominick's
Supermarkets Inc., Northlake, Ill., a supermarket chain, DFF; Ingram Micro Inc., Santa Ana,
Calif., a microcomputer products distributor, IM; National-Oilwell Inc., Houston, an oil and gas
drilling and production equipment maker, NOI; New Holland NV, Amstelveen, Netherlands, an
agricultural equipment maker, NH; and Prime Service Inc., Houston, a rental-equipment company,
PRS.

Also joining the NYSE were: Delphi Financial Group Inc., Wilmington, Del., an insurance-holding
company, DFG, which previously traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market; Midway Games Inc.,
Chicago, a video-game company, MWY, which is a carve-out from WMS Industries Inc.; Pacific
Gulf Properties Inc., San Miguel, Calif., a real-estate investment trust, PAG, which previously
traded on the Amex; and Roper Industries Inc., Bogart, Ga., a specialty industrial controls and
fluid-handling products company, ROP, it previously traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market.

The following IPO began trading on the Amex on a "when-issued" basis: Homestead Village Inc.,
Santa Fe, N.M., an extended-stay lodging company, HSD.WI, warrants listed under
HSD.WS.WI.

Skyline Chili Inc., New York, a restaurant chain, SKC, also began trading on the Amex; it
previously traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market.

The following IPOs began trading on the Nasdaq National Market: Bitstream Inc., Cambridge,
Mass., a software company, BITS; Voxware Inc., Princeton, N.J., a digital speech processing
company, VOXW; Education Management Corp., Pittsburgh, a post-secondary education
provider, EDMC; Donnelley Enterprise Solutions Inc., Chicago, an information-management
services company, DEZI; Aurum Software Inc., Santa Clara, Calif., a software company, AURM;
Metropolitan Financial Corp., Mayfield Heights, Ohio, a bank holding company, METF; Boston
Biomedica Inc., West Bridgewater, Mass., a diagnostic testing concern, BBII; Educational
Medical Inc., Roswell, Ga., a post-secondary education company, EDMD; Allin Communications
Corp., Pittsburgh, a communications and media services company, ALLN; Synthetic Industries
Inc., Chickamauga, Ga., a polyprophylene fabric maker, STND; Ridgeview Inc., Newton, N.C.,
a socks and hosiery company, RIDG; Triangle Pharmaceuticals Inc., Durham, N.C., a drug
development company, VIRS; United Natural Foods Inc., Dayville, Conn., a natural foods
company, UNFI; and Offshore Energy Development Corp., Woodlands, Texas, a natural-gas
concern, OEDC.

The Nasdaq National Market also began trading the American depositary receipts of Multicanal
Participacoes SA, Rio de Janeiro, a cable-television operator, MPAR.

The following IPOs began trading on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market: Imatec Ltd., New York, an
image reproduction concern, IMEC, warrants listed under IMECW; Pacific Biometrics Inc.,
Irvine, Calif., a laboratory products and services company, PBMI, warrants listed under PBMIW;
Javelin Systems Inc., Tustin, Calif., a point-of-sale computer company, JVLN; and Room Plus
Inc., Paterson, N.J., a furniture maker, PLUS, warrants listed under PLUSW.

The Amex will begin trading options on the following stocks: AC Nielsen Corp. and Cognizant
Corp. today; and GST Telecommunications Inc. tomorrow.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange began trading options on the following stocks: A.H. Belo
Corp., Interstate Bakeries Corp., Saville Systems PLC, and United Meridian Corp. The CBOE
said it will began trading options on the following stocks: Business Objects SA, Clarify Inc., and
GST Telecommunications Inc. tomorrow; and TeleTech Holdings Inc. on Friday. The CBOE will
begin trading
