Good luck with your thread Spirit. In the coming days you are going to be invaded by neocons coming to this thread for the sole purpose of being banned. I see there are already several people posting to see if they can taunt you into banning them. These people know they are not good enough at debating to counter the truth. In their perverted minds they will view being banned from here as a badge of honor among their fellow pissed off redneck neocons and will brag about their achievement on the threads where their spamlies are accepted as a fair way to debate. You are the one who has the final decision concerning who to ban and when to ban them. I'm not trying to tell you what to do nor when to do it but I will tell you how I would handle it. I would not ban anyone permanently for a first offence. Depending on what it is they did which I thought was detrimental to the health of the thread I would ban them temporarily for perhaps a period of one to three days or possibly a little longer for a first offence. Every time after that I would give them a longer timeout. I wouldn't ban anyone permanently until at they had served at least 3 timeouts and most people I would never ban permanently but might put them on timouts of a month or more. If they were very disruptive and never engaged in anything but slurs and mindless drivel like say jlallen or twat I would probably ban them until after the election if they posted here and are as repulsive as they are on the other threads they post on. This sounds like it would be hard to keep track of but there is a small free program which makes things like this a simple task. The program is called Kana Reminder and can be downloaded from kanasolution.cjb.net. It is simple to use, all you do is click on an icon in the tray and you can leave yourself a message which will popup at the time you set for it to be activated. Thie way when I would put someone on timeout I could have a message popup to remind myself when to let them back in. I use it a lot to remind myself when something is on TV which I don't want to miss and many other things which I want to remind myself of at a certain time. You can set a reminder to popup only once at whatever time and day you choose or to popup up over and over at preset time like every hour, day, week, month, or year from the time you set. There are also a bunch of other settings which you can ignore or use, like having the program start up whenever you turn your computer on. There are many pissed off redneck neocons here who don't like you (or me or anyone who thinks for themself) who will attempt to disrupt this thread. It is mostly because people like them who aren't smart enough to see junior for what he really is are afraid of the truth. Keep your chin up and make them afraid like you always have in the past.
