Bob,
In general I agree with you on the "swing" range. Speculative stocks will be hit first and hard. Stocks like MSFT, CSCO, ASND will get hit next, but the hardest. Overvalued Bluechips like KO next, and then finally the rest of the market. This won't happen overnight, especially when factoring in the Dow's trading curb numbers were composed in 87-88. 50/150 points today is not the same percentage as it was then. Nasdaq does not have such a system, which will allow its value to evaporate overnight.

That having been said, I don't believe it will happen. But then Christians once said the universe began in 4004 B.C. Let's hope my belief is not in need of as much correction [hidden pun intended].
