Golly shucks, I'm glad you like me for a dem, or at least someone who votes as such. you're allright, yerself. I'd say for a Rep but my 82 year old parents are life-long Reps so I am accumstomed to liking them okay.

As to Obama looking foolish... I think he is serious about Afganistan and it comes across to me.

He messed up, imo, when he spoke in front of AIPAC. Hillary spoke before him and her tough talk sounded natural to her, tho I disagreed with much of it. Then Obama talked. And it fell flat to my ears. And... he didn't know the history of the how things were divided way back when and then that war in the 60's and blahblah. It just fell flat. And it sounded like pandering to me with no acknowledgement of Palastinians. And then he talked about Cuba. Flat again and I disagreed again. Then he said something silly about Chavez that to me spoke to his not having studied either the current or past history of the nation. To me, he does better when he talks as a statesman (tho to be that fully, he needs to stay up late nights for awhile, but he has the brain for it). Do the get tough about AQ. And N.Korea and Iran, who Russia and China will help with if it is played right. Just my blahblah on that. smile.
