I don't think the current dems would do any better. And you are right about Hillary. I can only hope that Obama proves more of a Clintonian Dem than he could say since he was running against a Clinton. But people responded in '92 to the idea of balancing the budget. That we get in a mess, we have to sacrifice some and work to pull out of it. And we did. We can again. And for the most part, we all benefitted from it.
