I haven't followed this line of talk, but I think Carter was quite learned and he listened well. He came up with a wonderful energy plan. Ted Kennedy helped get him defeated. ooops. Maybe he wasn't tough enough when it comes to war. he was/is a very gentle christian man. I wish he would be embraced again. The dems continuing lack of acknowledgement of him, and especially of an energy plan that 30 years later people are putting out as new... what if we had done it then? so you think he learned? dad liked him cause he was a peanut farmer. just as he decided Bill couldn't be all bad cause he likes banana & peanut butter sandwiches.
