U.S. Equity Movers Final: Coca-Cola, Jones Apparel, Research

New York, June 11 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of
companies whose shares moved in U.S. markets today. The stock
symbol is in parentheses after the company name.

C-Cube Microsystems Inc. (CUBE) rose 3 1/2, or 12 percent,
to 31 15/16 on optimism that sales at the No. 1 maker of digital
video chips will top forecasts and the company may be a takeover
candidate. The company is expected to earn 27 cents a share in
the second quarter, according to the average estimate of seven
analysts surveyed by First Call.

Silicon Valley Stocks: Synopsys, KLA Lead Index Higher in Week

San Francisco, June 11 (Bloomberg) -- Stocks of Silicon
Valley companies rose this week, led by software developer
Synopsys Inc., chip-making equipment company KLA-Tencor Corp.,
and chipmaker C-Cube Microsystems Inc.

The Bloomberg Silicon Valley Index added 5.79 points, or
1.78 percent, to 331.21. The price-weighted index of 46
technology stocks with major operations in Silicon Valley set a
52-week high of 334.14 on Wednesday, and a 52-week low of 164.81
on Aug. 31.

C-Cube, the No. 1 maker of digital video chips, rose 5 7/16 [they better check their quotes, but it sounds good, don't it?] to 31 15/16. Shares rose 12 percent today on optimism that the company will top forecasts and may be a takeover candidate.

Twenty-five stocks in the Bloomberg Silicon Valley Index
rose, 17 fell, and 4 were unchanged.
