why?

LU is satisfied with their own technology, CISCO is what LU wants.
However, Chambers already said no.

My wish would actually be a CSCO/CIEN/TLAB alliance to go after
the big boys like LU and NT.

I don't have any position with CIEN, but I do own tons of TLAB
and CSCO.
