bin Laden's ire aginst the US started when we moved into Saudi Arabia during the Gulf war. He believes Saudi Arabia is a very holy place and US people should not be allowed to be there. I believe we still have US officials in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. btw he has 54 sisters and brothers, most of them step sisters and step brothers. His father was a favored contrtactor for the Saud royal family for many yrs and was worht $4 or $5 billion US. One of his relatives owns several luxury condos in Boston. A brother set up scholarships at Harvard U. Most or all of his relatives do not share his extreme views.
