This is the speech I'd like to hear from the republican leadership on this deal: We apologize to the American people for failing them in this budget deal. But our opponents the democrats simply do not see the disaster we are setting up for our people. If we continue on the path this deal sets for us our economy will collapse in a few years and America will be plunged into a chaos we may never recover from. We humbly ask that you give us the power in 2012 to try to halt this dive to disaster. Thank you. And God help us all.
