Al Qaida leaders are still at large. Bush pulled 90% of our forces out of Aghanistan before catching them. He let OBL get away at Tora Bora. Bush let top Saudis and Bin Laudens flee the US on 9-11 without interrogation. Bush snubbed allies who could help us in the real war against terrorists. He stonewalled the 9-11 commission yet uses Ground Zero as a campaign set. Why? There are a couple of important things you could add to that list. First he ordered the boats which were on duty off the coast of Afghanistan to move somewhere else. Clinton had had these boats there for a long time as a threat to Bin Laden. If they had still been there it is possible we might have gotten him the day of the strike. Junior also ordered the CIA to stop investigating the Bin Laden. He also told the CIA "hands off" of the Pakistani "nukular" scientist who was selling the "nukular" bomb secrets. I think these three things alone show just how soft he was on terrorism before 9-11. His record since isn't much better. Any American who would have been president in the aftermath of 9-11 would probably have done more than he has.
