C/NET has an exclusive on AOL's announcement tomorrow:
news.com

"AOL would not comment on the announcement
but circulated a notice to analysts today bracing
them for a briefing tomorrow regarding "a number
of major developments concerning AOL's
business strategy, organization, consumer services,
and plans for the future."

They have tried to stage this with a myriad of PR garbage announcements but its clear the only news anyone wants to know about concerns the extent of price cuts forced by the deep-pocketed competition, i.e., MS.

What is killing is how determined some analysts are to remain publicly upbeat on this stock, despite the profound deterioration in its business model and ample evidence that the competition now controls its destiny. It is just so clear many have a private agenda.

It may finally be time for AOL stock to permanently wave "GOODBYE" to the 20's and resume its grand swoon to reasonable valuation. I agree that it should optimistically be valued in the mid single digits.

Regards
