Todd, It looks like Chuzzlewit had his thinking cap on! Apparently the $12 to $14,000 was from the ULBI pricing of $12 to $14 per battery based on quantity. I believe the $8000 to $10,000 came from an $8 to $10 estimate from over a year ago from Valence based on an old version with 300 recharges and lower energy storage. It's hard to tell what they may have negotiated recently for their higher-performance version. Perhaps OEM's will pay in excess of ULBI's pricing for the VLNC because of its "higher horsepower to weight ratio"! Regards, FMK
