I wasn't refering to knowing a specific company, but rather investing techniques such as shorting. But as long as you mention it, I am not usually successful when I jump into a company without doing some research. Wonder how many people grabbed some SYQT today without the slighest clue about the company fundementals, products, or potential. I'm a SYQT newbee today, and learned alot by just reading the thread. As with most threads there's plenty of mis information here, but then there are some really good ideas too. Thanks all! BTW, my conclusion, would be to short if I were a shorter. Rap
