let's not forget the one sensible comment from NTAP CEO in the last conf call that NTAP does not need to compete with EMC head-on in order to gain more marketshare and be successful, as most storage solutions are still being sold by commpanies other than NTAP or EMC... I guess to repeatedly ask the EMC vs. NTAP question is too narrowly focused, and I humbly think we are too obsessed with it. I agree with everything you said, Thomas, including the "too obsessed" part. <g> The real competition for NTAP (and EMC) is SUN, IBM, H-P and a few other 3rd party disk and RAID array vendors.
