Does PP ever make much of pitch for adoption? One of my children has only been able to locate one infant to adopt, and would have liked several more. There aren't enough infants for all the homes that want to adopt.

She has turned to fostering in the hopes of securing an older child that would fit into their home and lifestyle.

Adoptions today are wonderful for the birth mother as most have to be open adoptions. With this the birth mother can always know what happened to her baby and how it is getting along. Plus look forward to meeting that child in the future.

In so many ways, it is a win-win for everyone. In fact, we loved our grandson's birth mother so much that she's become sort of semi-adopted by us. Among other things we managed to grease the way for her to get on track for citizenship. She has a sponsor, a good job, and all the necessary paperwork in.
