John, I manage two portfolios, long, and short! My short portfolio is dedicated to day trading, and I can tell you, Jan. Feb. and March were the best in my life! On my long portfolio, as of Friday, I am still in black! I still have a gain for the year 2000. I bought more stocks, and I can wait it out! I have seen this marekt go up and down and then still go more up for many years! The trend has always been upward. I don't suggest that to nobody, but I have learned to hunker down and take the rain, better days will come!
