RE: " I am sick of this whole discussion"

Rod,

I grow weary also. Based on what you have posted it appears you feel that everyone is ignoring "reality". On the contrary, they are very much aware of what is happening. You provided your own experience and they provided theirs. The question is which one is more reflective of the overall quality of IOM products.

The market success of the zip drive (i.e., sells) highly suggests that your experience is the exception to the rule. There have been too many products that didn't "cut the mustard" that have died quick deaths. Why would the zip or other IOM products be different? IOM's marketing machine -- its good, but not that good. Plus, OEMS would be dropping IOM products like a bad habit if they were getting numerous complaints. Finally, I am not saying that every product that leaves IOM's doors works perfectly. What I am saying is the level of "bad" units are no where near the level you would have everyone believe.

Good luck on your future endeavors,

John
