That is why I usually don't post about internet stocks
on this forum, debating the internet stock thing with people.
We all know the internet stocks are too high, but look at the
guy on AMZN thread that shorted his LIFE at $40 when only
to see the stock soar to $110, then he was crying, insisting
that he was going to keep his short position because he felt
in 2 years AMAZON.com would go bankrupt. Then he sees his $110
stock go to $200.

See what happens when people get emotionally involved with the
stocks they buy, either they LOVE the stock or HATE the stock.
I don't LOVE or HATE any stocks. If the trend it UP, then go with
the flow.. When you go against the grain, you will get battered.
So far there is no signs of a long term downward trend. I hate
to say it because I do think that internet stock are high priced,
but I have a sick feeling we haven't seen nor are close to the end.

Internet is just getting warm. AOL has 14 million? customers now?
they were in talks to buy NSCP (didn't follow up on it, what happened ?) and more and more people are going to be "net-ready", cable modems
are coming everywhere, even in my area when I thought I would never
see a cable modem. Everyone that has cable and a computer with have
internet access (as common as a household appliance). It is scary stuff.

I sold my AOL back in 1994 when Paul Allen sold his stake in it.
Back then, AOL had 250,000 customers and the stock was moving
5 - 9 points a day. Today, if I had those shares I would have
made 40 times my investment. I hated AOL as a service, bahhhhhh!!!
Amazing how they survived when a plain ole' I-net access is much
better.. booo !!

Hokay dokay, gotta run, I am not going to waste my time hyping up
or down the internet issues cause I know they suck <g>, but we
continue to see then rise over time <g> I think everyone is correct
in their analysis. I will go long on a stock 1 day and root the
stock up, the next day I will short the same stock and "boo" it down.
<g> Sometimes (alot of times) I will place outrageous limit orders
to go long and short, whichever way the stock "feels" like moving
that day is how I play my hand of cards <g> I don't care, bottom
line "SHOW ME DA MONEY" <g>

Later,

Pirate

P.S. Surfin' the COOL stock, up and down BABY !!!
