Somewhere around there. Well, it depends on who you ask. I think Bush tried to make the case it was up to $500k. Some other Republicans have set it higher. IIRC, $750k. Personally, I think it is hard to make the case for $250k even in extremely high cost areas. But, I won't argue about it.

However, I can see why she is nervous about Obama winning. Her taxes are likely to go up.

Edit: the wikipedia would put her family in the rich column based on national data.
