I am on SI becasue I am a trader.

Bottom line longshot, is that the US is on the verge of a 1920's type depression, only worse as we did not owe any money then. Now we owe 17 trillion dollars which is incresing at 1,000 billion every 14 months and few left to borrow from. There is a possibility of a complete collapse of our dollar.

We are payng 10 billion a month to rebuild Iraq while they sit on 80 billion in the bank. 10 billion which we borrow from china and the middle east. foreign comapnies are buying up our country.

Our kids in the military are asked to fight up to 5 extended roations with sub standard equipment and no rear lines to go to rest like in WWII. That is asking too much of them!

Our military challenges are overwheling.

Our infrastructure is falling apart and the people are desparate for work. Inflation is racking the country, and energy prices are killing us.

We are in the worst shape in my memory.
