With M3 & falling US Dollar-why is gold still down?

I'm curious as to what threadsters think about Gold
failing to mount a rally here, given M3 and the
US Dollar cratering to the bottom of it's longterm
trading range?

I honestly have never seen such a broad consensus, or
such unbridled enthusiasm for a rally -- as I saw
amongst gold bulls in November re:

Given the reconstructed M3 stats posted by others here,
why hasn't that alone unleashed gold?

And it seems that gold bulls got their Christmas
wish of all wishes granted -- with the US Dollar
getting whacked.

So with the double barreled blast of - out of control M3
and the collapsing Dollar...why is Gold still floundering
221 days, $112 and 62 index points into a correction?

There is no right, or wrong answer that I'm looking for.

I'm just curious as to what you feel are the reasons
for Gold's inability to rally here.
