>>> Prediction: Obama will win more states than McGovern.

I wish that was it.

The reality is that unless McCain figures out how to fight the liberal machine, Obama is going to win a lot more than that. The McCain campaign has been totally inept in this campaign. That they are just now rolling out the ties to terrorists is the first clue; that should have been done during, or shortly after, the primaries, before Obama developed a dug-in following.

But there are numerous examples. McCain has failed miserably to explain to the American people just how liberal Obama is and what the consequences of an extremist president accompanied by huge majorities in Congress under extremist leadership, accompanied further by a liberal media, will do to the country. There probably isn't enough time for this now.

As a result you have people like Michael on this thread, ostensibly one who knows about the election, and doesn't even realize Obama is an extremist. Hard to imagine how someone misses something like that, but the point hasn't been made to the American voter.

More recently, McCain has failed to articulate how Obama is complicit in the mortgage crisis, demanding that the junior senator explain why he is #2 on the list of campaign contributes from these failed organizations, and precisely what he did to earn that money.

McCain was the wrong choice. Certainly, he's better for America than Obama, but he has been totally unable to be heard on the important subjects. Next time, the Republicans will need to run a much tougher individual who can take on not only the candidate but also the liberal media.
