Cruncher - What specifically do you look for in accumulation. I have often heard this term used (as well as distribution) but I wasn't sure how it's measured - by definition, for every share sold there is a share bought. Are you looking at the ticks, to see whether shares are trading at the bid (i.e. selling) or the ask (i.e. buying)? Does it have to do with the overall volume vs. the price action (i.e. I have often heard it said that heavy volume with no constructive price action is indicative of distribution)?.

Thanks.
