Two former Micron Technology engineers are keeping a low profile after filing suit last week against their former employer. James Jeffrey Stefano, who worked in R&D for the chip manufacturer, and Nicholas Van Heel, a product engineering manager, filed suit against Micron for $7 million. They claim Micron fired them last April because they gave information to a Micron board member about how the company might stop losing money. Breck Seiniger, the lawyer representing the two, won't let his clients talk because of "threats Micron has made." Seiniger won't elaborate, and a Micron spokeswoman calls the lawsuit "factually incorrect actions taken by disgruntled former employees."
