Is Netscape targeting GroupWare with Navigator 4.0

Looks like that is what they are doing.

On the positive side, the extention of the directory services to Sun UNIX boxes and the news about Novell taking the lead on Internet printing standards is good news. They seem to have gotten that part of the strategy right.

As I have said before on this thread, if Compaq wants to challenge Sun et al with a high end Intel box, they can't do it without an NOS, unless of course if they want to end up like DEC--- pushing a 32bit NOS on a state of the art 64 bit processor....DEC...a once proud company now living off a pension from MSFT.

By the way that is probably the quintessence of Microsoft's contribution to the computer industry---to have developed a 32 bit OS for a 64 bit microprocessor as a successor to a 16 bit OS for a 32 bit microprocessor.

Sorry for that but...

I'm really disappointed in the Novell management. Products are late and they have a product development cycle that looks like it was designed by GM.
