remember when I first used to go in there I had to get a note from my parents.. like they checked ? then the cop in square used to come in for cig. breaks as he couldn't be seen smoking while on duty.. and guy at the door (shaky) always watched down the alley.. beats me why . everyone knew it was a bookie joint... Jimmy the greek (really it was his name) would go out every hour and hit several bars and businesses and take bets come back and settle his books.. and then make another round... but I learned quickly how to play three five and eight ball. ggg see ya
