Thanks Tuck: I came across this information. I wonder where RFMD chips go...I seem to recall their chips are used in the newer applications.

Consumer Electronic Show: Phones w/ Color & Cameras Out In Full Force

*We attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last week.

*Handsets w/ color screens and digital cameras were on display as vendors
boasted that the technology is ready and the demand for these phones is
abundant. Majority of wireless handsets at CES were based on 1XRTT or GPRS
with some presence of WCDMA and PDC.

*Noticeably absent were handset displays from three of the larger vendors:
Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson, while Asian companies such as Samsung,
Sanyo and Sharp were very noticeable.

*Impressed with variety of working, commerical camera phones displayed &
encouraged by willingness of industry (vendors, operators, etc) to begin to
focus on educating consumers about the capabilites that high-speed wrls data
ntwks can deliver today & not simply floating promises about future
potential.
