Mr. Jacobs:
I posed these question via e-mail, but had no luck, so I will re-try using this forum.
I understand the regulations you must abide to in answering questions in a forum such as this, so I would ask that you respond to the questions that create no such violation in your opinion.
1. The last press release indicated the actual new design will be released when the marketing phase for FAST-1 begins. Is there a target start date for such a campaign?
2. Press releases have clearly indicated 'sales in Q4', and in a message you posted here on July 14, you stated "(w)e will be soon be at the point where actual sales will take place as the product comes to market and we can track them against projections". Are you still comfortable with such timelines issued in these releases? Does soon indicate Q4 1999? As shareholder sentiment has clearly indicated on this board, it is frustrating to see timelines pass without any company comment, even if there is good reason for missing the timeline (as company outsiders, we DON'T KNOW the good reasons, we just see the missed deadline, which creates frustration from the shareholder perspective as well as management perspective who likely feels like an attack is being waged unfairly. In reality, it is likely the simple issue of mis-communication). As a follow-up question, if sales are expected in Q4, are these expected to be 'prototype' sales or sales in non-sample quantities.
3. You have indicated earlier (after the last PP) that no additional cash would be needed to get the FAST-1 to market. Considering the costs of manufacturing and redesign, is this still your belief/position?
4. I have repeatedly seen the number $98.50 US for a sale price per unit of the FAST-1. Is this in fact going to be the go-to-market price?
Mr. Jacobs, I don't believe the answers to these questions would violate any securities regulations you are required to adhere to, as most questions are looking for a re-iteration of previously released information. I, and I am sure the rest of the long-holding investors in your company that read this forum would appreciate the answers to these questions.
