even so, the action with ASND was brutal. without too much maudlin senimentality, my heart goes out to those with big long positions in what is now clearly a stock descending. i hope they used margin with more wisdom than i showed... i compared the CYMI chart against the ASND chart... no comparison.. speaking of comparisons, here's infrastructure's recent thoughts about ASND. interestingly, infrastructure has been high on ASND recently (see the August monthly note portfolio entry) in the 9-18 daily note they were "guardedly optimistic" and recommended adding more at the then prices, but warned there might be more downward pressure. in the 9-30 daily note, they said they would average down. they also said the action was volatile and would remain so through the earnings announcement (i guess they had that one right) and they said that the action was putting pressure on PMC Sierra. I thought some of you might find this interesting. i don't know all of the details of ASND's situation, but i think CYMI's near term future prospects are substantially better. jess.
