Re Kandinsky - I dont know whether its XI or IV or whatever. It's a picture that has been in Odessa gallery since years but they got it in to Munich extra for this retrospective - Kandinsky as you know spent quite some time here and in Murnau before WWI. And this #XI - he has been brewing it in his mind for years and then "copied it" out in four days.

But I guess you know that... It's just... Like, as that bloated-up guy in Faust says "Ich weiss zwar viel, moecht' aber alles wissen" - "I know a lot, but I would like to know everything". A round of irony for everybody, DJ's paying.
