VK,
The DOJ is going to go behind the scenes and negotiate a settlement with MSFT....perhaps for $100 million which they will hand over to Clinton to pare down the U.S deficit. No point in suing for $800 million plus and having it wind up in courts for the next twenty years with one appeal after another.

I disagree, 3 to 5 years in the courts may be just what MSFT wants! Then when everyone is running NT 2000, which does have IE 2000 embedded in it, on the 128M home PC with the g'zillionMz Intel 64-bit processor and 640G WDC RAID hard drive, who is really going to care about this decision. If Ms Reno is concerned with justice, perhaps she should spend less time chasing MSFT and more time on Campaign Financing. DOJ ends up with a BIG BLACK EYE on this one before it is all over.

Regards,

Rich
