This is not yet the most incredible stock for me, yet.
I bought some MCNS at a little over a $1. Sold half at over $20. So the story is not finished there yet.
It was a small amount of stock however. But it was the best percentage runup I had ever experienced.
This one, I've put quite a bit of money in at an average of $2.17. So it's fine by me where we are. I've been long on this one for some time as well, not wanting to miss the inevitable run up when ASTN received approval for their trading system. As I mentioned earlier, I was put on to this stock by Mr. Westergaard. Now there's an interesting person. But who cares about personalities if they come up with good stock stories? By the way, if there is anyone else who got in on this story because of Westergaard, do like I did and send him a thank you note. He will appreciate it.
This stock has it all. Catching a paradigm shift. Solid management. Money in the bank. Sound business plan. These are the elements of a truly great investment story.
Don't let the actions or words of day traders, momentum players, hypsters, etc. distract you from the real story here. This is a long term play with great potential. We will see a lot of volatility as the short term players move in and out on the increasing volume and interest of a great investment story being played out. I'm sure there was the same sort of thing in Microsoft, CSCO, etc.
But it sure is nice to say 'another day, another +20%' isn't it? I've had other stocks kill me, so this one is paying for a lot of my past mistakes.
My technician experts are telling me there are no weaknesses in the chart. We have gone through some patterns with the quaint names those types associate with their arcane arts. But the bottom line is, this stock is demonstrating some real strength.
It is also fun to see 35 posts in one day on this thread. For months this thing was dead. Just another confirmation of the interest in this company.
